Acceptable Ai Use Policy

Last Updated: June 2025
AI is everywhere in publishing right now. Some agencies are using it to produce manuscripts
quickly and cheaply and presenting the output as professional ghostwriting. We think that’s
wrong — and we want to be clear about exactly what we do and don’t do.

Our Core Position

Your book is written by humans. Full stop.
When you hire us to ghostwrite your manuscript, every chapter is planned, written, and refined by a professional human writer with craft, experience, and genuine investment in the quality of your book.

What We Don't Do

  • Generate manuscript drafts with AI and deliver them as human-written ghostwriting
  • Use AI-generated content for book descriptions or metadata without substantial human rewriting
  • Misrepresent AI-produced content as fully human-authored work
  • Pass AI-generated covers off as original design work

Where AI May Play a Supporting Role

Research assistance: Writers may use AI tools for background research and factual verification — not writing.
Grammar and style checking: AI grammar tools used as supplementary proofing, always reviewed and approved by human editors.
Structural brainstorming: AI may assist with initial structural options during planning. All editorial decisions are made by humans.
In every case, a qualified human professional is responsible for the final quality and originality of what you receive.

Why This Matters for Your Book

Amazon and other platforms are increasingly monitoring forAI-generated content. Books appearing primarilyAI-generated face growing risk of rejection and reduced visibility. Human expertise protects your investment.

Your Right to Ask

Want to know specifically how your project was produced? Ask. We’ll give you a straight answer.
